The Wellington Shire's level one Visitor Information Centre is conveniently located on the A1 (8 Foster St Sale).
The centre is an excellent source of local information for both visitors and local residents.
Open 7 days between 9am-5pm, the centre offers visitors an extensive stock of brochures and local guides, local produce, art & craft, souvenir postcards and is an ideal base for touring in the Wellington region.
The Centre has clean toilets, a childrens playground and free BBQ's.
The Wellington Farmers Market is held at the Centre on the third Saturday of each month and many regular events are held on site.
Visitor Information is also available at satellite visitor information centres located within various business's throughout the Shire.
