A SENSORY EXPERIENCE

Over the last five years the wine and food in the Wellington Region has developed to create the ultimate sensory experience. 

Whilst exploring the region one will discover that each town is situated close to wineries and eating houses, including some who have won awards for the quality of the meals and wine that they serve. Meals ranging from hearty breakfast and home-cooked dinners, all the way up to silver service can be enjoyed across Wellington. 

Some of our cellar doors offer dining experiences amid the vineyards.  Slow down and discover the small, family owned boutique wineries producing unique, hand-crafted wines from grapes grown and nurthured in the region's cool, pristine hillsides and valleys.

The "Taste of Gippsland" food festival held each March is also a wonderful event to get a taste of everything the area has to offer the gourmet and gourmand.
