Welcome to Wellington Regional Tourism’s corporate site
The Wellington Regional Tourism Board was formed in 2008 with a view to promoting the Wellington region as a desired destination. Our mission is to engage with the Wellington Shire Council, tourism operators and other stakeholders to maximise the potential for tourism income and thus contributing to the general economic prosperity of our community. We will contribute to the Wellington economy through the effective promotion of our region as a preferred tourist destination.

Tony Smith
- Business Risk and Compliance Manager at East Gippsland Water.
- Former Air Force officer who chose to stay and live in Sale with his family on departure from the RAAF in 2000.
Jo Wilson
- Secretary of Rosedale Chamber of Commerce
- Marketing experience in Sydney and Melbourne
- Actively involved in community groups
Peter Quennell
- Ran business mentoring program for Wellington Shire
- Helped create the Maffra Motor Museum
Cherie Fielding
- Advertising consultant Gippsland Times
- Experienced in advertising, marketing in different mediums
- Involved with local events, including Sale Show, Bridal Fair and other fairs and markets

- Many years involvement in the arts as an international exhibiting artist; outreach program developer; participant in regional arts development
