Wellington Regional Tourism
The Wellington Regional Tourism Board was formed in 2008 with a view to promoting the Wellington region as a desired destination. Our mission is to engage with the Wellington Shire Council, tourism operators and other stakeholders to maximise the potential for tourism income and thus contributing to the general economic prosperity of our community. We will contribute to the Wellington economy through the effective promotion of our region as a preferred tourist destination.

Ian has been a senior manager for the past twenty years and in that period of time gained invaluable experience and expertise in Management, Marketing and Business Skills in Australia and Overseas with Companies including Valentine Sands Textron [Fortune 500 Company] Mobiletronics Communications, Sands McDougall, Country Racing Victoria, and Win Television P/L.
Ian was the publisher of the Official Visitors Guide "Experience Gippsland" for the Region [Wellington Shire, Latrobe Shire, and Baw Baw Shire 2004 -2005] and was instrumental in organising and running the First 'Longest Lunch ' and 'Farmers Market' for the Wellington Shire Council.
Ian has also Event Managed and run on behalf of the Wellington Shire Council, The Winery Wander, The Small Towns Summit, and Festivale' .
