CMCA Rally 2012
26th CAMPERVAN-MOTOR HOME RALLY AT SALE
This year the 26th Anniversary Rally of the Campervan-Motor Home Rally will be held at Sale commencing Wednesday 4 April through to Wednesday 11 April.
The Anniversary Rally is being hosted by the Wellington Shire in partnership with the Sale and District Agricultural Society, Gippsland Grammar School, the Sale and District Greyhound Racing Club and of course, CMCA. With over a thousand motor homes and nearly 1800 visitors expected, the Gippsland Grammar and Sale Showground sites will be transformed into a village with power and water grids, a huge marquee, offices, meeting rooms, trade displays, a grey water collection system and rubbish bins.
There will be various daily activities; off-site tours to local attractions, entertainment each night in a large marquee, and mini buses will provide a shuttle into Sale continually so you can shop until you drop! Local shops will also be offering specials for patrons as well. Nearly 40 traders will also be on site offering an extensive range of RV products and displays with bargains to be had.
Easter Monday, 9 April will be 'Open Day' when the community is invited in to explore the motor-homing lifestyle, looking through the various makes and models in attendance and speaking with those who have taken the plunge into motor-homing. Funds raised at the gate for the Open Day will go to local charities.
Queries or questions in relation to the Rally can be directed to the CMCA Rally Manager, Mr Colin Gard on 0415 178 427.
The CMCA Solos Network is also holding a Solos Rally at Yarram, with support from the Wellington Shire, from 22nd to the 29th March 2012. Contact the Solos Rally Manager, Don Napier on 0419 324 639.
