The Wellington Shire's level one Visitor Information Centre is conveniently located on the A1 (8 Foster Street, Sale).
The centre is an excellent source of local information for both visitors and local residents.
Open seven days between 9am-5pm, the centre offers visitors an extensive stock of brochures and local guides, local produce, art & craft, souvenir postcards and is an ideal base for touring in the Wellington region.
The Centre has clean toilets, a childrens playground and free BBQ's.
Supporting the Wellington Visitor Information Centre - Sale are Visitor Centres in Maffra and Yarram, both located in historic Courthouse buildings.
The Maffra Visitor Information Centre showcases the Pino Deriu mineral and gemstone display and the Yarram Visitor Information Centre houses the Courthouse Gallery, a quality community based arts facility. Both centres are open all days except Wednesday.
Tourism Wellington also provides visitor information at a number of shops located in our smaller towns right across the region.
